Anyone collecting Pez dispensers? I have a pretty large collection that I have not touched in years and years - are there people that will buy entire collections?

I know there are some PEZ dispensers can sell for large amounts as collectibles; also there are trend collecting PEZ dispensers from the 50s to today. I heard that the highest verifiable sale of PEZ dispenser was a private sale of a Mickey Mouse softhead at $7000 between an Austrian dealer and a California collector. Thus, your collection may be very valuable and other members may be interested in trading with you.

That is really encouraging, I am going to have to go through my collection with a fine toothed comb next time I get some free time!

Hi mandiees,
In general, the older a PEZ dispenser is, the greater its value. Feet began being placed on PEZ dispensers in 1987. Any dispenser without feet was made before that date and they are definitely worth more. I recommend you to put your collection in a glass case to protect them. Shandy |

Hello mandiees,
If you are going to sell your Pez dispensers, don’t be afraid to state any marks, broken legs or floppy heads on them. I know that some collectors are still willing to buy them for their collection. Try listing them on auction site, do not let your collection gather dust. Mediator T |
